Chic White and Navy-blue wedding inspiration

A classic white and navy-blue palette is timeless and elegant. As the Pantone colour for 2020 is classic blue this gives a different variation of blue you can use for your wedding.

The venue 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, London is one of my favourite venues in Central London Westminster which has a beautiful and airy feel.
With a neutral colour palette and rich navy creating old Hollywood chic. The neutral colours allowed the venue to work well with its character and charm. These neutral colours also added the 1920s feel of the venue with its gold and black staircase. Orchids were the main flower in the design complemented by hydrangeas and roses. The textures in the hydrangeas and roses added depth and created a luxurious feel to the design. As the main flowers were orchids the bride’s bouquet and grooms buttonhole featured just this flower.

To recreate this look it is vital to have an abundance of luxurious florals to create an opulent and decadent feel of the bygone era.
Touches of gold add to richness and glamour of the old Hollywood chic and are must when recreating this style.
Keep everything neutral and allow the venue to shine through.
